MISSION
At Elizabethtown Montessori School, our mission is to provide a joyful learning environment and a quality Montessori education. Our purpose is to empower each child to reach their maximum potential - intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. We offer activities and materials that engage the child and allow them to explore and learn at their own pace. Children develop a love of learning, self-confidence, and problem-solving skills.

OUR PROGRAM
Between the ages of 3 to 6, each child has an extraordinary ability to absorb information and concepts from the environment. Our classroom is designed to give each child the opportunity to maximize their knowledge and skills, as well as to develop positive attitudes towards themselves, the world, and learning.
Our classroom offers a genuine Montessori curriculum that includes practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language, geography, history, science, cultural studies, movement, music, art, care of nature, and peaceful ways of conflict resolution. The classroom is set up with beautiful, hands-on materials that promote concentration, independence, and intellectual development.
Our lead teacher, Gretchen Hinkle, is nationally certified through the American Montessori Society and MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education).
